On this website there are a lot of watercolors that I paint from the oldest city of The Netherlands, a town called Dordrecht. Its not my goal to produce beautiful pictures of all the streets and buildings from the city, but to get the mood and the sensation of light. English language: Mijn streven is in m'n aquarel een bepaalde sfeer of stemming te scheppen, waarbij ik bij voorkeur een ingetogen kleurpalet gebruik. Details etc. zijn voor mij eigenlijk ondergeschikt aan het gevoel wat de aquarel moet uitstralen. Ik schilder vrijwel uitsluitend stadsgezichten van de oude binnenstad van Dordrecht, waar ik nog steeds die 19e eeuwse sfeer terug vind die me zo aanspreekt bij veel 19e eeuwse Hollandse schilders.
