Voorstraat at the year 1905, Dordrecht

Colors: ultramarijn blue, burnt sienna, raw umber, yellow ochre and white gouache
This is definitely one of my favourite painting from the shopping street the "Voorstraat" in Dordrecht. I paint it from an old photograph. When I paint this watercolour I was totally relaxed at a super vacation in Normandie, France. The sun was shining and the sky was clear blue. Still... I'm just a Dutch painter... I painted this watercolour like a rainy afternoon with lots of greys and raw umber. A typical "Dutch" picture.
